Hi everyone! My name is Karthick and I am currently a sophomore at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Math, and Engineering Technologies, now called the Edison Academy Magnet School. Robotics has always been a passion of mine and it has given me the opportunity to participate in many competitions with teams around the state. In addition to serving on iStart Valley’s AI Innovation Council as the vice president this year and taking the AI and Data Science course from iStart Valley over the summer, I have previously been a volunteer teacher in the US Kids 4 Water organization since 2021 and have received the presidential award for my outstanding service to kids in rural India. In school, I am the treasurer of the robotics club and the captain of the MCA Eagles First Tech Challenge (FTC) team. I am really looking forward to working with my fellow council members to introduce the world to all of the benefits of the new technologies around us and show how innovation can be applied to these fields of STEM, including those of AI and robotics.
