Kavya Chheda

Kavya Chheda is a sophomore at Park Tudor High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She participated in the IStart Valley internship and received the 2022 Gold Presidential Service Medal during her freshman year. Kavya has participated in STEM clubs such as HOSA and Women in Stem, while also taking part in clubs such as Model UN, DECA, and Environmental Club. She was a member of the team that was the state champion and qualified for nationals in the National Science Bowl competition run by the Department of Energy in eighth grade.

Kavya also enjoys participating in visual arts, mainly photography, and received a Gold Key in the Scholastics Art competition for photography in her freshman year. She is on the executive board of her school’s art magazine, The Artisan. She has also participated in cross county running since fifth grade and has a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music, and spend time with friends and family.
