Kartik Gangwar
Associate Vice President
Kartik Gangwar is a rising senior at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois. He is passionate about artificial intelligence and is aiming toward a computer science-related career path. Kartik is one of his school's best academically performing students with a strong GPA and rigorous honors and AP level courses. Outside of academics, he is a category leader on his school’s Speech Team, which recently finished 9th at the State Competition, and is also an active member of his school’s Model UN club, where he has won numerous awards and commendations and was also the conference director for his home conference. Kartik is also a part of a private History Bowl team where he qualified for Nationals after placing 2nd at the regional competition. He has also mentored under Ivy League students/graduates and conducted research in Artificial Intelligence and got certified in programming languages by the University of Michigan ECE. He was a part of the iStartValley internship in July 2023, where he earned a Silver PVSA after 206 hours of service and worked on his leadership skills by leading a team of interns to create a business pitch. Currently, Kartik is a part of the technology subcommittee in the YEC.
