Hannah Li

Director

Hannah is a rising sophomore at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, California, with a deep commitment to business and advocacy. She has achieved significant recognition in DECA, securing top 10 placements at the district, state, and international level, while serving as a double-officer for her chapter. Her entrepreneurial spirit also shines in the Diamond Challenge, where she has placed as a top 20 semifinalist among over 800 competitors. Beyond business, Hannah is heavily involved in debate, where she serves as an officer for her school and distinguished herself as the first from her school team to qualify for and compete at the prestigious national Tournament of Champions. Her advocacy skills are further honed through her role as an officer and opening prosecution attorney competitor for her mock trial team. Outside of the classroom, Hannah enjoys competing for her school’s varsity swim team, listening to music, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family. Hannah’s journey with iStart Valley began with her involvement in the internship program, where she earned the Gold Presidential Service Award and placed third in the Global Youth Startup Challenge, advancing to the semifinals. She is eager to continue her impactful work as Innovation Director to give back to this community that has greatly shaped her development.
