Daksh Batra

Director

Daksh Batra is a rising senior at Heritage High School in Texas and aspires to continue his learning in STEM, namely computer science. In computer science, he is researching at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and working with professors to create an image classification software. In addition to computer science, he likes to participate in Varsity Track and Cross Country, Business Professionals of America, in which he has won awards ranging from regional to national level throughout his highschool career, FRC Robotics, in which he attended the state level competition, and lastly, community service. During his time with iStart Valley, he was awarded the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award, collecting over 100 hours of community service. Additionally, he placed 3rd within his cohort to move forward to the global semi-finals with a solution to offer need-based services to those who need help with a focus on safety and reliability. As a member of the iStart Valley Youth Executive Committee, Daksh hopes to support students in current and future cohorts to move forward with their startup ideas, further their passion for entrepreneurship, as well as further his leadership skills.
