Avni Kabra

Co-President

Avni Kabra is a junior at East Lyme High School in CT. She is interested in a combination of both entrepreneurship and mathematical applications to the real world. As part of iStart Valley’s internship program, she ranked 2nd in the pitch competition and went on to compete in the global entrepreneurship battle with her prototype of MyHestimate. She continued merging entrepreneurship with her passion of science by creating the Global STEM Entrepreneurship Club at her school, which focuses on solving social issues with scientific and novel ideas. To pursue her passion of math, she participates and is president of Math League, along with being an American Regions Mathematics League and AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Exam) qualifier. Avni also is co-president of the National Science Bowl Club, for which she has been part of the team to represent CT at the national competition three times. As part of iStart Valley, Avni hopes to continue inspiring entrepreneurship within high school students, like herself, and raise awareness about the opportunities in innovation.
