Aryan Shashi Kumar

Aryan Shashi Kumar, a sophomore at Marvin Ridge High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is passionate about the intersection of medical science and entrepreneurship. He has received two prestigious Gold PVSA awards for his contributions to the community. He actively participates in DECA and FBLA, qualifying for FBLA Nationals after placing second at the states and winning first place at DECA Regionals. At iStart Valley, he guided his team to a second-place finish, securing a spot in the Global Semi-Finals. Aryan has conducted research in cellular biology under the mentorship of Harvard and Yale University scholars. He placed in the top five at the NC Student Academy of Science state competition and he is a Young Member of the New York Academy of Sciences. Outside of academics, he enjoys competing in state-level volleyball tournaments and traveling to new places. Aryan is excited to leverage his experiences to inspire innovation and drive meaningful change.
