Abhay Tippimath

Abhay Tippimath is a sophomore at McNeil High School in Austin, Texas, who is passionate about STEM, innovation, leadership, and community engagement. He has earned top awards, including recognition as a top 300 national finalist in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge and first place at the 2023 Texas State Science and Engineering Fair. As an Eagle Scout, he demonstrates a commitment to community service and leadership. He has also qualified for ICDC in the PHT DECA event as a freshman and holds an officer position as part of his school’s DECA club. As head coach of a middle school Mathcounts team, he coached them to the state competition, with his students placing in the top 20. Over the past 5 years, Abhay has tutored underprivileged students in math and computer science helping them excel in school and beyond. With over 250 volunteer hours, he earned the Gold PVSA. He also advanced to the Global Semi-Finals in the iStart Valley Teen Internship Program with his moonshot idea. Outside of academics, he is a student-athlete on the school tennis team. With his diverse achievements and dedication to both academic and extracurricular pursuits, Abhay is committed to making a positive impact.
