On, June 16, iStart Jax's Directors Sheena Koshy and Yash Nath, were invited to speak at Jacksonville's first IT Pro Camp, about 'Resources for Technology Startups'. The IT Pro Camp brings together system administrators, IT professionals and database professionals in addition to managers at all levels in Florida that work with Microsoft technologies for a one day learning event. With a specialized focus on IT Pro related technologies, the conference offered us a great environment to showcase our new Crowdsourcing and Crowdfunding tools being developed. These tools help our fledgling startups garner support, distribute their tasks, and ensure the completion of their project. TEDxRiversideAvondale is being created right now by a group of innovative people here in Jacksonville. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
