The same people are saying the same things on the same stages, selling the same people the same junk with… well, slightly different numbers attached. But this year I had a great time and found some amazing companies — because I avoided at all costs actually stepping foot on… Read More

Hulu on Friday released the first images of the next season of The Handmaid’s Tale, announcing that the next season will be released in April. Blocks hopes to court enterprise customers with its modular smartwatch

As we noted earlier this week, the mere fact that Blocks was able to bring its modular smartwatch system to market feels like a minor miracle. The company appears to have not taken the easy route in any respect. It could have launched an Android Wear device, but instead opted to skin a scaled down version of stock Android. And then there’s the modules — the company compares… Read More

Here’s what it’s like to ride in Byton’s new Concept SUV

Byton’s electric concept car wowed at CES, and for good reason. I’m A VC

January 11, 2018

As a preparation for something new and exciting, let’s reminisce a little. In 2011, we did our first Foundry Group music video “I’m a VC.”

I remember being amazed when the Youtube views went over 100,000. I recall being equally amazed when I heard that our IT guy (Ryan) had cleaned up our random Google accounts, deleted This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and as a result deleted the video. When it was restored, the view counter was at 0.

Oops.
