I am a 10th grader at Interlake High School in Bellevue WA and passionate about serving my community, especially social entrepreneurship. I am the founder of Worth A Shot, an organization committed to increasing youth involvement in public health and bridging disparities in health care. Our main focus during the pandemic has been the COVID vaccines; we are collaborating with public health leaders to raise awareness about the COVID vaccines, holding community information sessions where people can ask their questions live to infectious disease experts, and organizing vaccination clinics where we have been able to vaccinate thousands of members of our community. I was a summer intern with iStart valley in the summer of 2021 which sparked my interest in business and entrepreneurship, and I hope that as a member of the Youth Executive Committee I can inspire other youth to get involved in these areas as well as encourage them to develop their leadership and speaking skills as well as be able to work effectively as a team.
