Hi everyone! I'm Adrija and I'm a sophomore at Middlesex County Academy for Science, Math, and Engineering Technologies. Geography has always been a passion of mine and it has given me the opportunity to participate in many Regional, National, International Geography Competitions. Furthermore, it has allowed me to better understand issues around the world and overall, become a better global citizen. In addition to serving on iStart Valley’s AI Innovation Council, I am a member of the Roots and Shoots National Leadership Council where I work on community service projects. I also serve on my Congressional District's Youth Advisory Council where I work along with other students to inform Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. about concerns of the youth. In school, I'm the Secretary of my school's Red Cross Club and participate with my team in competitions such as Quiz Bowl, TSA, and Science Olympiad. I’m really looking forward to working with my fellow council members to make AI more accessible and promote STEM awareness!
